Girl, 8, pens song ‘I Wonder What’s Inside Your Butthole’ and honestly, it’s a masterpiece

It’s no secret that sometimes children do the funniest things, they just can’t seem to help themselves.

From embarrassing their parents by yelling about periods in public to accidentally drawing rude pictures.

But one child might have just taken the crown – and she’s gone viral on social media for her efforts.

Eight-year-old Jolee Dunn from Los Angeles has written an original song, all about buttholes.

Yes, really.

The little girl penned a thoughtful track called ‘I Wonder What’s Inside Your Butthole’ and performed it beautifully.

Her mum, Lisa, posted a clip of the performance on Twitter for all to see, writing: “My kid wrote a song called, ‘I Wonder What’s Inside Your Butthole’.

“Quite honestly, it slaps.”

More than six million people have watched the video, which sees Jolee singing: “I wonder what’s inside your butthole, maybe there is astronauts, maybe there is aliens, all inside your butthole. What’s inside your butthole? I always want to know.”

What a masterpiece!

Over 324,000 people also liked the tweet, with many branding the child a “lyrical genius” and proclaiming that she deserves a Grammy award for her hard work.

Others joked that the song was going to be stuck in their heads for the remainder of lockdown, with a guy named Joe saying: “You realise I’m going to be singing this. By myself. In quarantine. For days.”

Someone else commented that it was “the pandemic anthem we didn’t know we needed”.

Even a few professional musicians shared their thoughts.

Hayley Williams replied: “Suddenly self-conscious about my album bc if I am honest with myself it will never be this good.”

Creative types liked the song so much that a number of different remixes started popping up.

But according to Lisa, Jolee is indifferent about the number of fans she has accumulated.

The parent, who just so happens to be a singer, said: “Jolee will ponder [her success] for a moment, then ask, ‘Did Doja Cat see it?’ which is her only barometer for fame.”

American rapper Doja Cat is apparently the little girl’s idol, so fingers crossed she sees the video and responds.

The mum added: “Jolee has always been super performative and the funniest person I have ever known.

“She is always making up songs, and lyrics are her strong suit.”
